While Josh stayed home and studied, I took the kiddos to Abilene to visit their Great Grandmother. We had so much fun! We decided to check out the local Zoo while we were there.
There are two things you need to know about the Zoo . 1. It is VERY small! You can walk the whole thing in about 45 minutes and that is with stopping at all the exhibits. 2. It is almost completely interactive. You can hand feed all the animals with the exception of monkeys and cats. You can't imagine the thrill Skye had when the giraffe took a cracker from her hand!
