Josh Update

For those who don't know, Josh will be deployed soon to Iraq. He is leaving us at the end of the month to tour Ft. McCoy for 30 days. He will get to come home for a couple of weeks before he leaves again. He says he will be back in January. I hope it is sooner, but if not........(sigh)
He will be awesome at his temporary position and we will be awesome here at home. I am trying to make plans for the kids. There are some awesome camps in the area and we have ton of friends begging us to visit. It may end up with too much to do and not enough time. LOL
We appreciate all the lovely notes of encouragement from everyone. Take care.

****Family Fun Day****

We had a family fun day yesterday. Jared came over for the weekend and had a cheer competition at Sea World. We loaded up the family and went off to have a great time. The kids are going to really enjoy the season passes and hopefully won't get bored by the wonderful acts. They love seeing all the animals ! To cap off a great day, Jared competed with his squad and got the highest marks for the whole competition. He did a front, full lay out for the first time in competition. That is a forward flip, but instead of tucking your legs, you keep them straight like you are standing straigt up. it was awesome. Sorry, but the pics of the competition came out really dark and blurry. (Imagine that?! They do really move fast.) I think it is time for a new camera. Here are a couple of pics of the park. I am sure you will see plenty more over the summer.

Mimi's Big Day

Mimi decided she was ready to go home on the 1st of March. That also happened to be her birthday. We helped her celebrate her 84th in style. She is doing awesome and is very happy to be back to her independent living self.
